Finnish Ambassador Urges Development of Agricultural Cooperation with Iranian Province
Finland's envoy to Tehran stressed his country’s eagerness to expand relations and cooperation with Iran’s Northern province of Qazvin in agricultural fields.

“Qazvin enjoys great capacities in agricultural, scientific and industrial fields and Finland has a desirable position in building agricultural tools and machinaries,” Finnish Ambassador to Tehran Harri Kamarainen said in a meeting with the officials of Qazvin Islamic Azad University on Wednesday.

“We are ready to have cooperation in exporting and even building agricultural tools with Qazvin in the future,” he added.

Kamarainen also said that Qazvin has abundant potentials in historical and tourism fields which can be attractive for tourists.

Also in 2013, Kamarainen expressed Finland's willingness to further boost ties and cooperation with Iran, specially in port and tourism fields.

“There are good grounds for cooperation among Iran and Finland’s ports,” the Finnish diplomat said during a visit to Shahid Rajaee port complex at Iran’s Southern city of Bandar Abbas.
